Sahraoui Nina


    As a Research Associate at the European University Institute within the project EU Border Care from April 1 2016-March 31 2019, Nina conducted fieldwork in Melilla (Spain) and Mayotte (France).

    Since April 2019, Nina Sahraoui is affiliated to the GTM-CRESPPA, CNRS and the Collèges d’études mondiales, Fondation Maison des sciences de l’homme in Paris, where she co-coordinates her research project entitled ‘The (Un)deserving migrant?’.

    Nina completed her doctoral research at London Metropolitan University in 2016, supported by a Marie Sklodowska-Curie fellowship. Her doctoral research focused on racialised workers’ experiences in older-age care in London, Paris and Madrid, leading to a gendered political-economy analysis of the articulation of employment, care and migration regimes.
